I am especially fond of the 2000 Giro, and the long solo breakaway victory by David MacKenzie, and the win by Axel Merckx on stage 8, after he rode into a ravine on a dangerous descent, remounted, caught the leaders and beat them with a solo effort the last 1.5 kms.

I love the 98 Ronde where Museeuw goes home solo from the Ten Bosse, and the 2002 Ronde where Tafi wins after multiple attacks. I also love LeMond's TdF comeback. Thrilling stuff all.

Me too, though being a Pantani fan (began watching cycling in '98) I am partial to the Briancon stage where Pantani pulled Garzelli over Colle Agnello and Col d'Izoard..
