I can't do any victory salutes if I ever win a race because if I take two hands off the bar then I get a DQF. Also you look like a douche doing a victory celebration when you win a Cat 3 race.

Agree. After a miserable rainy stage and all the heartbreak during the classics, he was overwhelmed by emotion.
Of all the trademark salutes I like the Flecha one. Absolutely hate the pistolero nonsense, so predictable and fabricated.
