I have not but you got me curious...it sounds good....so I went ahead and bought it and "Boy Racer" & "Sex, Lies and Handlebar Tape: The Remarkable Life of Jacques Anquetil..." I went a little crazy...but it's my birthday.

Yes I read it in french when it came out like a year ago. It gives an interesting account of Fignons career. He even talks about doping, that EPO was one of the reasons he had enough etc. Long chapter about the Tour lost for 8 seconds to Greg Lemond due to "superior material"

Its one of the better sports biographies I read in the last years.
