Fitbit Surge for roadrace and running?

Hi Guys.

After a lot of searching throughout the web I'm overwhelmed with different choices, the one that caught my eye was fitbit surge / i like the design and features. Though I feel it lack some specs like how fast you are going on the bike. Anyone got some experience with this armband tracker?

what do you think about this the fitbit?
any alternative?
any upcoming worth waiting for?

My requirements.
- neat design
- clock
- show distance
- show speed
- connect to iphone after for further stats
- for running and firstly cycling

budget 200 pounds 300 dollar

Garmin and Polar do multi purpose watches in that price range, you may have to buy the heart rate monitor separate though.
