No English speaking rider really believes Wiggins dopes - he has a long history of speaking out in strong terms against it, and there is just no circumstanical evidence out there like there is for some other riders. He's a great example to the kids coming through. Dave Brailsford is also very tough on this issue - Millar was only allowed back to the British national team recently.

No, im just saying that IP bans are circumnavigatable and do not work. The only way to guarantee someone not getting somewhere is getting their isp to stop them from accessing somewhere and even then you can still get around it with a bit of work. RR, Bro, etc's definition of troll is somebody that doesn't toe the party line in here, then they start squealing like somebody stole their cookies at lunch.

I'm not saying I agree with this latest reincarnation of BPC, but he makes points worth debating or pointing out where he is wrong. Dimspace is right. Instantly sporting the "troll" card is petty and childish, and is the mark of somebody that can't debate and is immature.

I personally think this thread was rolling along rather nicely, and it was one of the funnier things I have read in awhile. No offense mods, but I wish you didn't exist.

BTW, what thread did Wiggins wikipedia page get discussed? I missed that.

It did take some balls for Wiggins to call out the rest of the top 10 in 2008 as dopers.

It doesn't matter, we've been here before.

You either 1) Keep banning him or 2) Pardon him and tell others to strictly avoid that line of conversation.

Personally I find his rapid-fire auto-posting dull and prefer it when he's not around.

That is some pretty impressive snooping. And not including some of the more extreme short lived names that cranked out 50+ posts in 12hrs before being banned. And all the delete posts. If this doesn't highlight the seriousness of the problem to the moderators I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL!

Yes and the admins are getting around to banning the accounts, it might just take 12 hours.

As has been said previously - we should just be reporting/telling the mods when we detect this person, rather than going all out attack in the threads. Once we start shouting Troll etc, threads get even worse. If we alert the mods without letting The Arbiter know, he will not have a chance to go into his mass post mode.

Hi it's me. Just dropping in quickly to post this comment by dimspace speaking out against the forum omerta where a certain gang are allowed to say and do what they want, even defacing other websites and reporting back here, whilst others who try to stick to the topic are bullied and banned.

You don't need to panic because I don't plan on posting here for awhile either, so you can stop this absurd game of pretending everyone is me and doing a post count from threads last summer like that is relevent.

Susan, the ball is in your court now. It's up to you if you want to change this place for the better and stop siding with the bullies. If you don't, good people are going to continue to leave rather than defy the board omerta. People are just sick of it.

anyway.. The twitter argument has nothing to do with anything. I am sick to the back teath of the bullying pack mentality that goes on in this place. A small group of members do more to disrupt this forum than any troll, could ever do. If they disagree with your opinion one of them ridicules you, the ohers soon follow and the gang of them attack from all directions. They dont just do it with Arbiter, they do it with many members, youve all been there, disagree with them and they resort to insults, they cant handle debate. And they get away with it on a daily basis, why, because most of the mods round here have the ******** of 2 year olds, or no ******** at all. (no doubt a mod will now pm me and tell me "you dont know everything that goes on, theres more to this than meets the eye") ******** is there, this place is full of bullies and Im not the first to think it.
