Had some thing like that last year... its no fun.
Got to hope he does not get any kind of Staph infection, that can complicate what is already a nasty injury.

Babelfish has trouble with properly written sentences already and that was a particularly poorly contructed one with slang words. Still, it is really weird that Babelfish threw the word 'muffler' in there. This is a proper translation:

That's not normal, man. You get my respect for continuing to race/cycle with that. A soccer player would be sitting sadly at home.

And trying to keep the slang:

Staph can be nasty. I'd think cyclists aren't as a great a risk for that as some other sports with more contact can be.
