Do you have other examples of good, long ITTs by Brambilla? If not, it's just one data point.

What are Brambilla's chances to be high in GC? He always was decent climber but this year he seems to be in much better form than previously. I think top 10 is achievable, but can he be top 5 or even podium?

It would be a major surprise if he did better than top 10.

Agreed, altho he really was climbing brilliantly the other day. At this point, I think its more plausible that he finishes in top-10 than he doesn't.

He did it once again. Should clearly be the revelation of the season after taking a stage at the Giro and the Vuelta (and numerous other good placings during the year). What a season he's having!

Everyone wants to be a Grand Tour rider nowadays. Brambilla should target classics, stages and small stage races. Same with Formolo.

Trek must be the least ambitious team ever. They sign a rider just to get a 10th place in a gt. Just ridiculous

So, Gianluca Brambilla wanted to become a gc rider and now gets beaten by 6 riders who are all either no gc riders or complete nonames. Sad to see how a rider wastes himself because of nowadays ridiculous obsession with general classifications.
