Go Igor!

I know it's early but I'd love to see him win the stage.

Rujano suffering :( Hopefully he can find something and get 6th or 7th. Will probably pass Purito actually.

At what point does waiting become dropped? Very hard to read at the moment.

I don't think we'll know for another 3k or so. If he's just waiting he'll not let the gap get big or take some time back. I would say if the gap goes over a minute or so he's got dropped.

Anton rips it up and Contador makes Scarponi do the work

Contador not as good today?

I don't think he is, he doesn't look as smooth.

Looks a bit pale, actually. Yep, he is in trouble a bit, me thinks.

Nibbles nearly caught Bertie & Scarponi, good ride from him.

Amazed how quickly this went to bits given there were no build up climbs.

It's not like Anton is unreachable (or maybe on these grades he is). At least he doesn't look unreachable.

Contador is actually looking like he's working hard, which is incredibly rare even when he's working his **** of he normally looks smooth. I'm guessing this is to steep even for his liking.

Did menchov connect with Contador?

Menchov is dropped. Anton is up front chasing. Contador is riding Scarponi's wheel and then back to Nibali and then Rodriguez.
