Meh, at a glance can only see Colnago-CSF Inox riders on Sardegna start list, others seem okay.

I don't have a clue who'll win.

AG2R have brought a very strong team.

Nocentini and Roche should do well... They have a few cards to play. Hoping Evans can get first win of season!:D

Saturday is forecast as a sunny and warmish day which should provide some good fast racing. I plan to cycle up to see them at Sesto Calende.

Sunday is not so good - wet all day long! Had hoped to drive to Lugano but not sure I fancy standing out in the rain all day.

I looked for a thread on this and missed it because it was sticky and I wasn't exactly looking at sticky threads for this race. Does deserve it's own thread idd.

Bad news for Nocentini there, been looking strong at the start of the season. Was looking forward to see what he might do at Paris-Nice or Tirrenno-Adriatico.

The descent from the climb to the finish was supposeably quite treachourous. mauro Santambrogio has bruised some ribs badly.

Highlights from the last Kilometer of GP Insurbria here.

Did you see the officials at 300m to go! they nearly took out Two riders and blocked the road.
Predictions: Burghardt in KBK and Evans in luggano. they'll do the double and people won't be saying that their invite chances are diminishing!(wishful thinking)

Confusing day here at GP Lugano-the break stopped because of a car on course. Race cancelled, then 40 guys start again. Cancelled or not?!

Simone Stortoni won the thing.
This was at 1,8 km to go:
22 Bertagnolli (Androni), 62 Capelli, 63 Cheula (Footon), 52 Bouet (Ag2r), 115 Stortoni (Csf), 94 Kocjan (Carmiooro), a 5'' il 181 Fajt e il 182 Gnezda entrambi della Adria, il gruppo a 12''.

Wonder what happened with the re-start.
