22nd win of the season for Pogačar, his historical 2024 gets another chapter written.

Yes, he didn't look as good as in the Tour but he is peaking for Worlds and Lombardia not for this race and was still clearly the strongest. Nevertheless, Bilbao looked very good and could be a dangerous outsider for Zürich. Alapphilipe also looking good.

So congrats to Teddy on Montreal win - his 22nd of the season. He attacked hard one lap earlier than expected and soloed 23 km to the line. His victory was never in doubt afterwards.

WC is 2 weeks away. It wasn't vintage Pogacar yet, I think he suffered a bit (maybe also due to temperature/humidity combo). But post-Tour Pogacar normally has a form dip and this is definitely his strongest version in this period. He's on schedule for the championships, methinks.
