I didn't notice Riccò doing anything wrong but I was focusing on whether or not Evans was going to crash against the barriers (I have a great imagination).

I thought that might happen also.

Typical Rabobank blocking Cuddles' sprint

No, Paul Martens won with a tactically smart sprint. He watched last year's final again, that much is clear.
And you know what? I just caught him saying exactly that to a reporter :) "I watched the final on Youtube."

I know you guys love to bag on ACF but you really should be able to spot when he is making fun of himself.

Just watched the replay of the finish on Youtube. Looks like Evans was going to shoot the inside of that last corner but hit the brakes when Martens came over on him. Martens' move would've been sketchy if the sprint was straight but with the turn I don't see anything wrong with it. He had the lead position so the inside line was his.

As for the picture of Ricco and Martens hitting elbows, that was after the line and was just bad riding by Ricco.

Dutch teams in general! They hire people to find out new ways to sabotage cadel evans!

We do that so we can have fun with ACF on the CN.com forum. That's pretty mcuh the only reason, but a good one though :D

Thanks Jamsque! Still it is good for cadel that he has had a good result going into the worlds. Similar type of route with lots of hills. He was very isolated in the finish which was unfortunate as he was way too far back when he had to bridge back up to the Team Vac attack!

I thought Leukemans did a fantastic job for Riccò.

Maybe not.
His DS thought so as well, according to the Vacansoleil website. But Leukemans is an adept of the Belgian school of constant whining, never to the team but always to the press.
