Dreadful weather, so great racing. It was good to see Pinot near the front in such conditions. Maybe he's exorcised his demons a bit more. Clinical finish by Debusschere.

Pinot's problem is high speeds which scare him.

Rain means slower speeds. Rain never was a problem for Pinot.

He didn't like it too much in Switzerland.
 
Yes he lost time those stages but don't think that had much to do with him not being good in the rain. Just that guys like Dumoulin and Thomas are much better on the flat and thus can stay right behind the sprinters and gain some secs that way.

His win in Romandie this year was in heavy rain. And iirc he also said after the Pyrenees double in the 2013 Vuelta that he liked that it rained very hard those days cause he the descending was done very slow those days
