Just curious, what happened to "Alexi Grewal 2.0" ? His site is down, and I have not seen any press about him getting a ride on any squad for this summer's race. Did the comeback fester-out?

I spent some time looking and couldn't find anything either. Too bad. I was rooting for the guy.

My husband raced in the IronHorse Classic (masters) in Durango last June ...Alexi was there supposedly his big comeback with the pros. Not much was seen of him.
He (Alexi) must have just dropped back and disappeared ...don't think he did too well with the pros.

The same with the Boulder Roubaix this year...I think he just blew up.
Havent' seen or heard a peep...

The last I had seen when his site was up and running, was that he was having financial issues. He had a problem with his car not being registered, and was ticketed (and maybe impounded?) on the way back from Iron Horse I believe. I think I read that he lost a bike (stolen from a store) also when he was without a car. I believe it left off that he was working on some timber framing, which is a good sign to pay the bills.

Good read. It sounds like he has a good perspective on the whole deal. Sad to see a champion struggle so much -self inflicted or otherwise - but best wishes to him. Hopefully he can stay on a bike just for the sheer joy of it and stay fit.
