Group rides in Copenhagen

As the title suggests, are there any?

For the last two years, I sometimes joined group rides organised by a bike shop. But now the shop is apparently bankrupt.
There are several cycling clubs out there (also with recreational sections), but maybe that's not what you're looking for?

Yeah, just somewhere to meet and go for a ride with a bunch of road bikers in a group. I saw some guys riding up to Helsingor and back, but didnt get the chance to stop and ask where they meet. Any info would be appreciated.

P.S. a bike shop went bankrupt in Copenhagen?

Yeah. Sounds incredible, but it's true. Bad business decisions and too big plans can wreck a bike shop even here. It was (is? Allegedly some employees try to re-start it) next to Svanemøllen st., and only opened three-four years ago.

If you dont under stand Danish it says that there is group rides every wednesday at 5 o'clock. Two different groups, one that rides 40-50 km and one more ambitious one riding 60-70 km.

You just have to turn up at the shop in Brøndby to participate and make sure to bring a helmet and a functioning bicycle.

The Heino group rides are at 5 pm (from April 6th onwards), but don't forget DST kicking in this (or next) weekend.
