In 2018 she wanted to get into better shape after having done handball in her youth.
She then bought a bike, because she wasn't a fan of rollerskis and started to ride regularly. A steady increase in training resulted in her finishing fourth in the ITT at the Norwegian NC this year and scoring her a contract with Hitec. She will perhaps be an interesting rider to follow in the coming years if she manages to adapt to a life in the peloton and avoids injuries.
