Gilbert appearantly finds his form acceptable.

Still, there was more to this race than just the classification.

Upon closer inspection you will see that there finished a group of about 10 riders from a relatively early break, with the pack 3 minutes behind probably not really caring.
 
OK thanks for the info.

I was a little bit provocative but my purpose was just to do a wink at one of our most prestigious pro kermesses (which still has a pretty decent field, except for gloryhunters) that was brought in the spotlight last year because won by Gilbert in the midst of his unbeaten run.

Anyway, Gilbert definitely does not have Duarte's class (sic). :p
