For the first time in 6 years I am planning on celebrating a holiday. The work on the house is done. I have TV and can watch the Bowl games. The oven works. Great start to the upcoming year.
I stopped celebrating New Year's Eve many years ago. Who wants to start the new year moaning on the couch with one eye open with a splitting headache.
Tomorrow will start with Mimosas, Bacon, Eggs, and pancakes. Most celebration dinners growing up were Roast Chicken, Spaghetti, Meatballs and/or Pork Neck Bones, and Salad. So that's what I'm making.
I am going to go to town and look for the pork today and get some champagne and OJ. I already have a 12 pack of Noche Buena and 2 liters of cheap tequila
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
If you venture out tonight, be safe, it's amateur night. The professional drinkers stay home.:p
