Does anyone have experience with the HED Ardennes, or other HED wheels with 23 mm rims? Can you ride tires smaller than 23s? Can you ride tubular clinchers?

I was looking into these wheels as well and would like to know if they are built with propietary parts. I can't tell from the website if you could use a standard exterior nipple construction, it looks like they are hidden in the pictures.

Hidden hex nips, not standard.
