I'am giving this it's own thread.

Feel free to expand with any articles/knowledge you may have.

Saw a doc from TdF once where the head of anti dope was explaining all the details... getting selected..peeing...etc. His biggest concern was nabbing somebody for doping as he thought it would be devastating for the cheater. Loss of income, not able to compete. Lol.

More Strides than Rides said:
It depends on the race. Races with an HQ, like Richmond, could have an indoor set up. Other courses and events are not so lucky. Most of the time it is a tent, usually paired with the medical tent at the finish.

Yeah.. Had the feeling this was overly romanticised, and a "storytell" pov..

The picture (in OP) is somewhat plastic to me.
Just looks unreal.

But I like the refrigeator. Tell's a thousand stories..

It doesn't matter what the process is to collect a sample from "the world's best riders" because they're all clean at the time of collection.

These riders aren't going to give testers dirty piss, at least they're not going to give a sample with a drug that can be tested at this time.

Seems perfect that the fridge isn't plugged in...

Why just a chain? That represents technology of the dark age that is long behind us. There should be marginally better devices, at least a code-lock, fingerprint reader and retina scanner.

And during the night it should be guarded by a tiger and a snake, plus two gunmen at the entrance with marginally enhanced willpower.
