How to buy the best motor cycle?

I am a new guy, I am interested to buy a motor cycle for me and I don't have any idea about how to buy a best one. If I have get any suggestions from you guys that will help me to choose a good motor cycle for me.

How do you intend on using it? For someone else to drive whilst you motorpace behind it on a human powered bicycle?
