I think that boat has sailed. He has only 1 minute to Basso and little more than 2 to Cadel. He need to keep one of those behind him or take more than 2,5 minute on Arroyo. Several others of the original contenders are within striking distance of Porte as well. Top 5 might be possible and top 10 seems realistic, but a podium spot is out of reach.
