Interview with Michael Ashenden

For anyone interested (seems like a few peeps around here) in Asho's work go here....

In the original EPO test development studies, I was both a subject and assisted with the data collection. Needless to say, I didn't need to wait until the blinding was revealed upon completion to know that I was in the EPO group.... all my training buddies were able to tell me after about 2 wks.... when they caught up to me after I stopped and waited for them at the top of the climbs that is ;)

Sorry if this has been posted before, but here is a link to a very extensive interview with the guy who developed the tests for EPO and homologous blood doping. I found it buried in a post from the Road Racing forum. Enjoy! :D

Yeah he's a very astute guy, really came across well in the SCA trial, and of course his pedigree is outstanding. No Lance fan can come up with any reasonable excuse for the presence of EPO in the samples. They quote the Vrijman report, but this report doesn't offer a reason either. Do people think that urine magically becomes EPO after six years? In that case, happy days!!!

Radio interview with MA:

Most people are aware of the interview, but less the radio interview, and the SAIB study. So it's good to have all links in this thread.

There are other links with MA reports if anyone would like to post them. The guy is obviously esteemed in his field.

Ha, what's the new one being sprouted by Gree0203 whatever?? Natural epo can become r-EPO if not stored properly?? Scraping the bottom of the barrel on that one.

In any case the NYvelocity report IMO is much better than the radio interview, which I thought only touched the surface.

The competitor radio interviews with Walsh and Lemond are far superior.
