Today on Gazzetta it appeared an article saying that investigated riders like Ballan, Cunego, Santambrogio, Gasparotto, etc but it doesn't explain in details how the "selection" would be made (see the case of Pozzato at last Olympics where he wasnt investivated by anyone).

According to some italian media it seems more a sort of political move than anything else.

On a funny side Im sure Bettini will bring in Holland Paolini althought being investigated just 2 years ago and even home-searched, as Bettini is famous for bringing his ex Mapei mates.

I think by now Ballan must have been kept out of more races than may riders who have actually been sanctioned. I thought the recommendations from that investigation were due in July?

Some country should announce a preliminary "investigation" into Moser and Nibali to get them out of action for the worlds:rolleyes:
