Just wondering if anyone has tried out their clothing - "founded, designed and powered by the ideas of profesional cyclist Martin and Peter Velits . . . "
Like the look of one or two of their merino based jerseys and haven't been able to find any reviews anywhere.

Isadore Apparel

I bought a Signature jersey and a pair of bibshorts a couple of weeks ago.
In my opinion, the quality is first-class. The jersey is a good fit and very comfortable (not a tight race fit). I used their sizing chart and it was spot on.
The only gripe that I have about the jersey is that the valuables pocket zip is way too small to fit a modern mobile phone in; there seems to be plenty of excess room to allow for a bigger valuables pocket. The three outer pockets are generous. I managed to get a spare tube, tyre levers, puncture kit, phone, CO2 cartridges, pump, three energy bars, three gels and a jacket in them with room to spare. I wore the jersey in warm conditions and very wet conditions. In the wet, I managed to stay warm and dry ( I had a thin merino base layer underneath).
The bibshorts are the best that I have ever worn. The fit is perfect. The padded insert is made from recycled bottles (plastic, not glass!!) and is very comfortable.
I ordered these items at about 1pm and they were despatched by 4pm. I chose the express delivery (which was 50 Euros!) and received them 3 days later, which I was impressed with (Slovakia to UK). Also, they threw in a free pair of Coolmax socks.
The only thing that I didn't like about the ordering was that once you had chosen the delivery method you could not change your mind.

All in all, brilliant product, brilliant service. I would certainly buy from them again.

Thanks a load MM for that detailed reply. I'd actually given up on getting a response so sorry for the delayed reaction - had stopped checking the forum.
Two or three further questions if you don't mind - regarding the pockets, do they sag do you think, as I often read about merino jerseys?
And do you know what the cheapest delivery would have come to? 50 euros more than enough to stop me in my tracks!
I'm 5'10 & about 65ish kgs/10&hlf stone. Do you think that'd equate to a medium jersey?

Sorry, but I couldn't get the price for standard delivery at the time . When I looked at the Slovakian Post's website (http://www.posta.sk) it stated that a 1st class parcel up to 3kg insured for up to 500 Euros is 24.00 Euros.

The jersey is not pure merino, it is a Sportswool-type mix and I had no problems with sag on the pockets, despite being generously stuffed and it raining generic domestic pets.

With regards to sizing, I based my choice on the chest size and it was a good fit. The neck was slightly tight when fully zipped up, but this loosened slightly after the first wash and now fits fine.

Hope this helps

Thanks again to Mean Machine & the September offer was enough to tempt me to order a Signature top the long-sleeved top, all of which came this morning. Love the look & feel of them & the sizing was right.
Like that they don't scream "Cycling clothing!" & can be worn pretty viably off the bike too. Something close to top marks I'd say to the Velits brothers.

Hi - any chance you could give us a pointer how to get the discount and/or free shipping ? Saw they had discount in Sep for womans specific items but couldn't see anything for the mens wear or shipping - really would like to get some of the bib shorts and that really would make my mind up :)

Cheers
