The American TV show "Mythbusters" proved that you can test positive for opiates by eating what would be considered a "normal" amount of poppy seed muffin(s).

you absolutely can test positive this way not hard to do. then again everyone knows this so dumb mistake for a tested athlete. people rinse pounds of seeds to make an opiate drink one teen managed to overdose and die this way. some seeds are pre rinsed before sale but not all.

Didn't Alexi Grewel use this defense for a failed a drug test many years ago? Calims the positive was due to of ingesting rolls with poppy seeds.
