Italian Rider Caught Doping

I don't know how many of you actually care, especially now that the Tour is done and dusted, but here is another (seemingly) no-name rider caught doping. It's a short piece on ESPN, but I'll just paste the link here:

Not much more on it. Does anyone know anything about this guy and the team he is riding for?

Old news.
The news of the positive came out in early May, and his team (Miche) fired him right away (and replaced him with Rebellin, of all people).
He's ridden for Miche since 2004, and has had some OK results in Italian races.
