James Williamson's sad death

Former world solo 24hr winner, 26 yr old Australian James Williamson has died.

He was always friendly when streaming past me during a 24hr race.

It suprised me initially that his team mate at the Cape Epic could race the stage after his death that morning. He also topped the individual finishers.

Probably was the best way he felt he could deal with it and what James probably would have wanted.

Yeah, that's awful. My Dad is 75 and has had bypass and heart problems for the last 15 years. I was home and my Mom tried to wake him. It took about 30 seconds and my Mom turned to me, smiled, and nervously said, "I thought we lost him."
