No one here is impressed with him? This is his only second grand Tour ever, his first ever Tour de France, and he's very likely to finish it on the top 10 at the age of 34 years old, Isn't that amazing?

He was an excellent mountain biker, and last year he had a superb debut on the road, but finishing 10th on his debut on the grand boucle it's another level, even if the field got weaker after so many crashes.

I think he deserves some praises.:)

His results this year have been good, but this is the first time he's been able to do something over 3 weeks. With Voeckler looking to go for the Tour again and Gadret andPeraud, France have some convincing riders for GTs definitely. Le Mevel was impressive during the first part of the Giro also.

I named him as my 6th most impressive rider of the Tour, or some such. Very impressed.

Link?

I think people are pleased with Peraud, certainly in France at least but on an anglophone forum, Danielson's debut grandaddy performance > JC Peraud.

Do wonder how well JCP would have done if he wasn't the backup plan after Roche and as Roche mentioned, had more knowledge of RR (only been doing it for 2 full seasons).

Peraud is good, a bit under the radar but has the ITT and climbing quality.
I had him in my road cc fantasy tour team as a domestique.
