Im surprised because surely with the season they are having and the riders they are signing like sinkewitz and vistonti giro 2011 seems good for him,
but then again he says he wants to sign for a pro tour team, is it a case of him just majorly over rating himself would any pro tour team even want the guy its not like he did anything in events like the giro del trentino against people like basso and vinoukorov. do people think he has any chance of getting to these events i can only see maybe footon servetto being interested

Well, Rujano was getting better in Trentino as days went by, he would've been in good shape by the latter part of the Giro. Let's hope Matxin has the money to enroll him, the Vuelta would be benefited by it.

he'll try to defend his colombian title so i don't think he can be competitive for la vuelta

I believe, out of what I understood of the piece on cyclingnews.com, that he meant the giro and the vuelta of next year

A good part of the reason his team did not get invited to the Giro this year I suspect was that he had shown very little himself since joining it.

ISD were very unlucky to miss the Giro nontheless. Visconti has been in excellent form but in fairness much of that e.g. Turkey and now Luxembourg has been since the Tour decision was made.

Perhaps they should have all done more for pre Giro selection success (a la Vacansoleil, not that that did that team much good) and then Rujano would still be with the team.
