There wasn't a thread about it and although it is a minor race, I think it was a glorious day for Dutch cycling to see Kai Reus win on his return to competitive raod racing and therefore merits its own thread.

Fot those who don't know Kai Reus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kai_Reus and http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/reus-takes-time-off-from-cycling-return-is-questionable). He was one of the hotter talents from the Rabo development program in the similar age bracket of Lars Boom and Robert Gesink when he sufferred an horrific training acident while training in the Alps, which left his cycling career in tatters (more or less retiring in 2009). He then turned to marathon ice speed skating for a while (popular sports in the Netherlands) and this year decided to return to competetive cycling. His first outing was in the Dutch ITT-championships and yesterday he had his first proper race and it seems that he can still deliver.
