I adopted a baby on my recent trip to Dallas. A F800ST w 2300 miles. It has bags and a topcase overall excellent condition. The belt drive is new to me, I like it so far. Got fresh liquids and filters at local BMW dealer,and w a few extra items it was 500 bucks,not that happy of a day but it needed to be done.
Got bike back on Friday from remap and the guru claims that I have 9 horsepower more w the small changes using @91 octane gas and hiflow filters. Have ridden just over 2000 miles since the purchase and I like most things. Will post a photo or two when the Thule stand up bike rack is installed.

Krebinator!! I rode to your pad today..your housekeeper tossed me off the property.
Still not sure why an English lady knows so much about Mexican cooking but she does. I made 5 or 6 recipes from the cookbook you loaned me. I made copies of things I will try in the future. Thanks for the book and your knowledge.
I know there are threads for where you rode your bike, your local weather and what beer and music are you enjoying.

I listened to some bootleg Matthew Sweet that was recorded during one of his live shows, I enjoyed perfect sun riding up the pass from San Miguel up El Tigre to your house. Some of the views from the road as you parallel the coast are fantastic. I stopped at that places Leo's. For those who don't know it. It is a 1000 sq ft dive bar hanging over a cliff almost falling into the Pacific. I had some chips and a beer,it set me back 35 pesos. I saw a couple of young Mexican tools climbing up from LaMission,glad I had a motor because I never could have stayed with them without mechanical doping.* there are many kilometers of good road and Mt bike riding in Baja. There is also some talented local people in both disciplines .
If anybody here has never ridden or trained in Baja do it. Indio is decent beer,for 20 to 25 pesos.

Krebster...that is over the top thoughtful. In English even!!!! I will be there with bells on..if you are game we can car pool.She has a recipe called Beef Apache witch is a Mexican version of steak tartare...yes I am going to make it and eat it. Now I have a deadline.. 22nd.
Anybody world wide. If you follow one Diana Kennedy's recipes you will get something good. If you have a little adventure in your kitchen you can try some of her stuff and it will surprise you and everyone who eats it. I have made a bunch of stuff from a Krebs provided cook book w excellent results. I have also looked at some of the ingredient lists and because of money and hassle I made a few substitutions and the overall outcome has been delicious. Try it you'll like it
