LA Picked As 2010 "Austinite" of the Year by Austin Chamber of Comerace

Well, I can't say that I am at all surprised by the timing of this:

What I do find a bit amazing is that given the smell coming of the steaming pile of turd that is LieStrong, why on earth would the Austin C of C stick their neck out and bestow such a title on SirLanceAlot?

I wonder if perhaps that one of his pals that either sits on, is affiliated with, or knows someone that is, at LAF, CSE, PS and/or AV may also be friendly with someone that is affiliated with the powers that be at the Austin C of C?

Probably just my vivid imagination running wild and there is really nothing more to this story, or the timing of it.
