Lampre/ISD: three into two?

As I understand it, there are three teams that seem to be party to these changes:
* Lampre/Giuseppe Saronni/CGS Cycling team of the ProTour;
*ISD-Neri/Angelo Citracca/Cycling & Go.com, at Pro Continental level;
*ISD Continental/Mykola Myrza/DMPO Sports, at Continental level.

We are told that there is to be a ProTour team (Lampre-ISD?), and a Continental level "development team", sponsored by ISD. Neither ISD Neri nor ISD Continental currently have the age profile of a development squad.

So what are we really looking at here? An amalgamation of CGS and Cycling & Go, or the dissolution of ISD-Neri/Cycling & Go, with pressure on Saronni to take on those thus made redundant as a result of this. Or will Citracca's outfit, including Visconti/Sinkewicz, be looking to continue under a new sponsor? If it is an amalgamation then presumably only 25 riders, as opposed to the 44 at the beginning of this season between the two teams, can be retained/replaced.

Will the Continental team continue to be Ukrainian based? With a much lower average age if it is to be considered a development team?

I think what we'll be left with is:

Lampre-ISD in the Protour.
Neri-MCipollini at Pro Continental level
ISD Continental Team at Conti level obviously.

So, can we expect Grabovskyy and the other Ukranians from ISD-Neri to go to Lampre?

But presumably it can't be a new team, or it would need to have applied for a new ProTour licence. So it is presumably legally a successor to CGS (known as Lampre) But do they have any access to the ISD-Neri assets (and, in particular, Visconti/Sinkewicz)?

I think Visconti, Gatto, Sinkewicz are staying put at the pro conti team, but maybe ISDfan will confirm.

Visconti and Gatto sign new contracts with Citracca's squad , but not Sinkewitz . Sinkewitz is free .

Its some sort of new team . Lampre-ISD would not be fully italian team like Lampre was . New team will have two managers Saronni (from italian part) , an Vasilyy Zhdanov former world champion (from ukrainian part) .

I'm looking forward to seeing what the new Lampre - ISD team will do...with guys like Cunego, Scarponi, Petacchi, Visconti... they could become a real powerful team next year!

Visconti won't be in Lampre or the Protour next year. See above.

Farnese Vini to move sponsorship from Lampre to (team currently known as) ISD.
CN reports.

[edit] Now that it's all-italian, Mario can go balls out with the kit design, hopefully not literally.

Oh well and I was looking forward to seeing what he would do with the kit this year. Still a chance I guess.

Without those stuffy Ukranians stifling his creativity, who knows what sort of garishly wonderful garment he would produce. Something metallic, maybe?

always wondered what the point of the mcipollini bikes was as you can't seem to buy them for the road so seemed a strange sponsorship.

Lets hope he is still designing the kit for next year with the bikes too.

I think maybe he underperformed one year at Quick Step, and recieved lesser offers the following year.

[edit] Looking at his last year at Quick Step, he didn't do poorly. Maybe ISD just offered huim lots of money and full leadership, or something.

And for the following year he decided to stay there to ensure the continuation of the team

But anyway great to see Krivtsov in a protour team, really like that rider
