Armstrong and Lieto continue to gain on Billard, but they remain 1:30 behind the French leader.

It certainly is an exciting race, but I'm gonna bet donuts to dollars that there will be no significant controls or dr*g testing after the race. I'm rooting for the underpaid triathlon pros in this one.

Docherty is now 30 seconds ahead of Lance Armstrong. He can't ease off a bit because Armstrong is not quitting at all!

Here comes Docherty! He's won Ironman 70.3 Panama in 3:50:13.
Lance Armstrong just finished second at Ironman 70.3 Panama - an impressive 3:50:55.

I agree, it is an impressive time for a 70.3 - especially for a 40 year old. He must have been training very hard to achieve this time. I guess this means he's going to try to qualify as a pro for Kona and not buy his way in?

During the tour years he always rode stronger when he had some anger, looks like he can race just as strong when he is happy.
