Lance Armstrong is a cheater and a liar.
There.
We can say that now, right?
The mods won't close this thread (they would never do that).
Daniel Benson won't intervene with vague "explanations."
Demand Media won't alert their anonymous, hidden-behind-the-curtain legal team.
Lance Armstrong is a cheater and a liar.
Up until now we could never be certain. It was all so confusing. It was important to "debate" the issue with balanced arguments and rational discussion. I expect the same will unfold in this new thread.
It is our duty to have this discussion for all those "journalists" in the room who laughed at Paul Kimmage after his exchange with Armstrong at the ToC.
It is our duty to have this discussion for the sake of the writers of Bicycling Magazine and Velonews who could never be too sure of the obvious facts in front of them.
It is our duty to have this discussion for the members of the peloton who, as it turns out, have inherited the sport they deserve. Taylor Phinney just thanked the media (via twitter) for "keeping the previous generation honest."

Clearly, unquestionably, they did just that.
Taylor has always been a leader-by-example. From unceremoniously jumping ship from Garmin in order to join the reputable duo of Bruyneel & Armstrong, he led by example. By leaving that bastion of integrity and signing up with the unimpeachable Jim Ochowicz, he showed the way forward. It's a new, young generation. Who in Taylor's inner circle could have possibly known about Lance's doping past?
Lance Armstrong is a cheater and a liar.
We have only just discovered this, of course. Lance told us. Now we know. Finally.
Facts are important, and should be stated. That is the purpose of this thread.
Lance Armstrong is a cheater and a liar.
Additional facts are welcome and will greatly contribute to the depth of this very important discussion. But please limit it to only one fact per Clinic regular. That leaves us with only eleven more facts, of course, so choose wisely.
Thank you.
