fatandfast I spent a year at UMass without any health insurance and thank whatever to this day that I didn't get seriously ill/run over as I'd be paying for it now.
The ridiculous thing is that, proportionally, I doubt I pay more in total tax (which pays for all kinds of things, not just the NHS) than I would be paying in health insurance in the US. This is the kind of thing the NHS does for the benefit of all:

I just wonder whether Armstrong needs to raise awareness in countries with a centralised health care system (e.g. most of europe) that has government funding to raise awareness (let alone indigenous cancer charities doing similar work)?
