With a decimated Spanish calendar this should be between Movistar and Intermarché. Voted for the latter as it could be a very long time before this competition is decided.

Surely National races should not be included for the purposes of this competition as the riders don’t compete for their trade team.
It won’t have a material impact as Jumbo and Bike Exchange should win soon anyway.

Actually they do, it's just some have no teammates and other's have 2/3rds of their teammates. Hence the reason the Spanish National Championships at times look more like the Movistar Invitational than anything else.

Aaah yeah. Teams playing pass the jersey at their local National Championship! FDJ are also doing it over in France...

As for the poll; I'm gonna go with Wanty (Intermarche)! They're the new boy in the class.

The eternal favourites for this competition - EF - have never "won" it.

This year nobody mentions them so it'll be them.

I agree that Nats shouldn't count, but for a different reason. Not all of the teams are can enter those races.

Sure, a team can't enter a national championship if they don't have riders of that nation, but otherwise there are no restrictions. Sure, it gives BikeExchange - or whatever the team has been called during the years - a bit of an advantage to get an early win.

I think Qhubeka should be incluced in the poll, because the team is bad apart from Nizzolo. And he even said that he didn't want the help of his team during the sprint in Almeria, so it shouldn't count for them.

UAE won in UAE. How fitting.

They're not out, yet, though. If the other teams don't win until the end of the season, UAE will be the last team to get a win.

Has there ever been a season during which multiple teams did not get even one victory? Even last year ever team managed to get a few wins, even if CCC had to wait until after lockdown to get their first.

The fewest wins for a WT team I can remember was 4 (Fuji in 2009 and AG2R in 2012). Pretty sure there has never been a winless team, let alone two.

How did AG2R manage only 4 wins despite being a French team and riding all of those small French races no big teams outside of France bother with is a mystery.

We could definitely see Intermarché break that record though, as long as the calendar is condensed they're unlikely to get their tally going.

Movistar only had 2 wins last year.

Right, I forgot. But I think we can all agree it was easier than ever to end up with fewer wins last year with so many races cancelled.
That’s true: they couldn’t add their anticipated Paris-Roubaix win to their tally ;):)
