ONCE = full of dope

[btw, remember the Mauri story when Manolo was on the plane? What do you have in this cooling box? The ingredients for a Vuelta win. And Mauri won it...]

Zülle was already full when competing here in Switzerland at local junior races. I know a few guys who were in the army [of course as cyclist] with Alex Zülle and Laurent Dufaux. He, he... a few interesting stories... But I am prohibited by death to tell anything... Omertà starts here :(

I always wondered if Laurent Jalabert ever used doping is his cycling career.

...

Did Jalabert dope?
Is the Pope catholic?
Does the bear sh.t in the woods?

Of course. His transformation between 1994 and 1995 is not unlike L.A. transformation between 1996 and 1999.

However I am inclined to believe that unlike L.A. Jalabert didn't use EPO before 1995. So, of course, when he started using it the results were tremendous.

Lance did EPO also before 1998, so Jaja could have been messing about just like Lance had been, like dozens or hundreds of them. Get organized, and it starts to work.
I messed with proteins in the 00's and didn't get results. Now I understand them better, and wow, do they ever make a difference. Body and mind makeover. Crippled jogger turn track runner. Known EPO dopers messing with their own needles only get spotty results unless they learn from masters. See how Landis did, once he knew. No performance drop after he left USPS. A nobody before he learned.

I was just giving my feeling that prior to 1995 he was just on the standard stuff of French pros of the early 90's : everything BUT EPO.

I am not close enough to that story to use it as fact. Not sure how a country so deep into pro cycling would miss out for half a decade. Different topic.
