Lefevere, the benchmark

So we want cycling cleaned up

Patrick Lefevere was Johan Museeuw's boss during his Paris Roubaix dominance years.

Museeuw confessed later to regular doping.

PL continues as top dog at Mapei/Quick Step to this day.

PL gives out to this day about all sorts re sanctity of the sport, give me a break

Now PL's entity struggles now to get a sponsor:

Oh let's all call it the cute wolf pack

Basically, he's a wise and beautiful woman

There's others like PL in positions of power. eg Jim Ochowicz

By the way, did we ever find out the guys who first encouraged a young Armstrong to dope?

There in lies the sickness in cycling

Clear out these fookers so parents can put their kids into the sport or else forget about it

UCI grow some balls, i.e. National Federations need to stand up at Congress and say things ain't good enough

Either the Clinic is getting lazy or it's going soft. That cannot be the best you can up with to beat Lefevere round the head with.

One reason for potential sponsors not already steeped in the sport to steer clear of Lefevere is his history. He may have scared the last lot of journalists off with his lawsuits but one day his turn will come again, you just don't know when.
