I thought they had to turn up if they were invited, but guess Im confusing it with they have to be invited
Well, if you have to turn up if invited, then it's not really an invitation, but an obligation.

Or remove it totally. If it was still a oneday race it would be in the centre of London and that race was less exiting than Scheldeprijs or those two almost identical races around Koksijde and de Panne.Rubbish parcours at Ride London - Better to keep it to a one day race if they serve up that rubbish.
I am surprised that one or two other WT teams did not ride Lotto Thuringen instead of Ride London, especially with Wiebes in the field.
That's uglier than a climbing technique masterclass taught by Fernando Escartín, Juan Mauricio Soler, Chris Froome and Paco Mancebo with a section on descents with Ilnur Zakarin, Mara Abbott and Ivan Basso. The first stage of five is a 20 km TTT. They haven't learned much from watching the Giro Rosa.

It's not bad but it's not great. Stage 3 would probably be nicer if they had Bardal and Orbó between Reinosa and Aguilar de Campoo if they're going to climb to Reinosa by the least interesting route, but stage 2 is really nice and I guess there would at least be time gaps regardless even if a stage 1 TTT is one of the worst ways to do that. Those two climbs are not especially challenging but given you'd expect a 16km climb to thin the pack out it could make things interesting.
There is a nice little repecho near the Embalse that they might use in the run-in though, that would be good to create a bit of intrigue but without making anything too decisive too. Stage 4 suffers from geography in that it's long but with an uphill finish that might hurt racing before that - however, the wind could play a role here.
Alpes Gresivaudan Classic today, looks absolutely great with the Col des Mouillés, the Col de Barioz and then an MTF at Pleynet-les-Sept-Laux. Not a super strong startlist sadly, a lot of smaller French teams with young riders I don't know too much about. On paper this should be Évita Muzic vs. Clara Koppenburg, but always room for surprises on the limited number of real climbing races from some riders that don't normally get the chance to shine.
