Just speculation coming from RaiSport2...I don't think we'll know anything before the end of the Tour de France on that subject matter...moreover people here in Italy keep on saying GEOX is going to replace LIQUIGAS as main sponsor at the end of the season, so completely new horizons are being traced...

Yep big rumour about Geox coming back.

They shouldn't let him go, as good as sagan is the italians won't support liqui if it isn't led by an italian rider and basso won't last much longer so i think they are making a big mistake if they do let nibali go.

I also hope the geox rumours are fake. . . the way they dropped their sponsortship last year doesn't make them a reliable IMHO.

Truth to be to told, they really were committed to a Pro Team, the thing is they felt screwed by Matxin&Giannetti...surely you can't say it was classy the way they packed the things up and went away, but you can't also forget if they could they would've pulled from sponsorship even at the start of the year, so I'm sure the employees could've at least felt it was in the air well before the official decision

Lo Squalo will not be with Liquigas next year:

"Vincenzo Nibali no continuará al lado de Roberto Amadio en la temporada 2013, tal y como ha reconocido el manager italiano a TuttoBici. Por ahora, lo squalo dello stretto no ha firmado con ningún equipo, pero Astana y BMC parecen los más interesados en firmar al ganador de la última Tirreno Adriático."

OMG...not seeing him in Liqi kit will be a shock. But I'll follow him wherever he goes...I follow riders (just about all of them LOL) not teams!

Thor Hushovd is still competitive. So is Vino.
That doesnt mean they can still win the WC or a GT.

Nibali never received the support and respect from the Liquigas that he deserved. The way the team was managed, made it clear that they cared only for Basso.
Before deciding where to move, he should watch Kreuziger in the Giro. If he fails one more time, Nibali should choose Astana where he would be undisputed leader. If not, then BMC, cause Cadel may fade more quickly than most realize

Liqui have supported him most of the time imo, but this year he won't have any fresh domestiques for the Tour (bar Sarmiento?) + the money could have swayed him.

But Nibali won't have a better support anywhere else. Though this season is a real big time for him and he wants to provide himself maximally. One should understand him in this regard.

The support Astana could give him is on a par, if you've dropped kiserlovski, Tiralongo etc you have really thinned out a bunch. Or put it the other way around, the number of people that either of those 2 could thin out is substantial.
The only real exception is if Basso rides for Nibali, which I haven't seen him do, though I'm really hoping it happens at the tour.

Lol if nibali went to saxo he would have to ride with the best grand tour rider. He will never get any chance in the tour.
