The driver appears to be completely oblivious. :confused:

Amazingly lucky recovery for the cyclist though. Wow!

It seems to me that the driver could have seen the cyclist if he were paying even a little attention but also the cyclist did absolutely nothing to keep himself from being hit. The cyclist kept pedaling even when it was obvious that the truck was going to turn into him. They're both at fault to varying degrees. :eek:

The cyclist is almost completely in his blindspot, it's absolutely suicidal to do what he did. The cyclist was lucky to be able to tell the tale.

Only thing I'm not sure about is if the truck indicates correctly, but then he could've been coming from a filter lane.
