Depends how hurt he is from yesterday really. The Vuelta is the sort of race where you can still do both from <10 minutes back, there'll be a lot of breaks going to the line.

Could still get some fine results from the race if he can recover as with the team around him there is nobody for him to have to fold in behind to work for.

Presumably he will be stronger in the TT compared to the road stages. Fourth strongest behind Almeida, Onley and Gall maybe. But he's been quite disappointing this season in my opinion. So far it's a step back from his Suisse level of last year. But maybe he's going all in for the Vuelta.
