Milano-Torino?

Seems like it was canceled this year.
But it is one of the worlds oldest races, first held back in the 1870's.
I just can't understand why it seems to have such a low prestige in modern times.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Yeah and plus if you add a very full calendar where some new races seems to be more important than ones like Milano-Torino.
