Why would a cyclingnews Search for 'Worlds 2008 Varese Result' not find it

Yeah, I was trying to remember who won a certain stage of the tour of poland last month and I can't find the pages for it on the 'races & results' page, and the search turned up nothing. Is there any way to find these things, or am I just missing something? I was just on holiday for awhile away from the internet, and can't find the results/report for the Cyclassics race or the GP Plouay either.

Suggestions? Am I just missing something simple?

A lot of people don't know about the "site:" tag. It's very useful for other searches too. A lot of sites have sucky search capability, to use a technical term, but using google on them always works reliably, I've found. Pretty amazing, really.
