katusha got 2 2nd places at the ardennes. But maybe they have been a bit dissapointing on the season whole.
outside the ardennes rabo have had a good season. Won quite a lot, and got a lot of podiums.
Andy schleck not riding until the tour is unsurprising, and just got 2nd at LBL which is actually quite good. So I dunno why you'd be dissapointed at anything other then his integrity.
JvbD is the same as andy, only he rode brilliantly for gilbert. No need for disappointment here.
And bottle is getting old, I have little expectations for the guy anymore. Radioshcak on a whole are having a strong season.

For this season I'd add: EBH and Cunego.

I'd take Boonen off. Interesting case, will he ever dominate again?

Isn't EBH still injured? Cunego...I can't figure out what's going on. He doesn't seem anywhere near his usual punchiness.

cunego just got back his GT contender form the year he decides to become a classics rider. it only makes sense as he was a classic rider for a few years while trying to be a GT contender.

p.s. this is a joke ofc but ya he has been having a bad season so far. i hope he can save it with another GdL

I'll have to go with Katusha.

I'd say Gilbert got sweet revenge on Pozzato for what happened at San Remo by completely dominating the rest of Katusha in the Ardennes!

How about the most disappointing set of the year be the established sprinters. A great many of the sprints have been won but younger guys and middle tier sprinters. Farrar, Cavendish, Petacchi and Griepel have won maybe 12 times combine. Usually After races like Oman, Qatar and Down under, they would be pushing low 20s.

Basso. He's terrible at the moment.

meh at this point last year he hadn't done much either.
He has actually had some ok results. If anything better then last year. Not like any of the stage races have really suited his characteristics so far.

Lulu is a good one. But really, had much better results at this point last year.

I think Cav looks quite lean at the moment, he is aiming to do 3 Grand Tours this season isnt he so he doesnt want to burn out?

ASchleck, well, he is aiming for the TdF and I dont think he has been too bad this season, just an odd situation at LBL.

For me:-

Hushovd - Gutted really, I think he is a great rider. Maybe the merge with Garmin has upset the camp?

Flecha - Supposed to be Team Sky's Classic rider, yet out done by Gee Thomas

Greipel - Moved from HTC where he was patient, quiet and not mouthing off like Cav and hasnt really got going yet

Im hoping Nick Roche can get over his early season mishaps and injuries as I was impressed with him last season.

Devolder & Hoogerland

I second that. Also I'm a bit disappointed by both Sanchez's and the Italians in general in the spring classics (not referring to for instance scarponi in the TA)

Friere hasn't been great either.

Haussler was disappointing in the spring.

He obviously hasn't won as much as he should but this probably just means he wil win a record fourth WC...
