Most northerly/easterly etc start of TdF?

With a bid being made to start the Tour de France from Glasgow in 2017

can any one give the extremes in longitude/latitude of the routes visited by the TdF?
Has it ever been more northerly than Scotland?

By the way the symbol of the Scottish Tourist Board is/was a rainbow - refreshingly honest!
