Mine too, for sure. Only I've never been a fan of Jeff Airplane (only a few songs incl. White Rabbit, of course).

Buffalo Springfield was such a creative and innovative country-rock/folk-rock band in the late sixties. Sad it was so short lived, pretty big egos in there but they did great work.

I've always had a soft spot for Kind Woman. Nice little country ballad by Richie Furay that he also performed with his next band Poco; real country rock band. Thereafter Richie played with the Souther Hillman Furay Band, that I love too. I think Susan liked it too, lol.

Then they did Go and Say Goodbye. That's a fast tempo bluegrass-ish country rock song. Stephen Stills song.

I am a Child. That's a Neil Young contribution to the band. Typically Neil Young kind of folk ballads. I'm sure Libertine likes it too.

These are the three that I like best + For What It's Worth. :)

The Weight is probably the most famous by the Band along with The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down. But I really prefer Up On Cripple Creek. Otherwise I also like Jemima Surrender and Whispering Pines.

I Heard it Through the Grapevine, that's a Marvin Gaye song but how John Fogerty reworked is huge. I'm sure he could have jammed that for 20' or so if he had wanted. So underrated this guy. :)

If you want singed ears then listen to Iggy Pop on BBC radio 6 this evening (Friday), 7-9 pm.

He does a big variety and almost all of it is "great", but he don't touch Dylan or the Beatles, not even Lennon , whom he ???

Well , he hung out, lets says, John Bullied the mollox off of him.

Back to Syd Barret-era Pink Floyd, 'Bike' now, haven't heard it for years. 14-year old cousin learning old rockers, kinda holding his hand without dictating what's to like...if I can control myself :p
Nice to hear. Kids nowadays need help figuring out what great music is really like :)

Yeah, but you won't believe how loud his friends complained :D

Barrett era is crap, "Bike" really breaks my hear. Gilmour really made Pink Floyd what it is. He was Barrett's guitar teacher, not the opposite. Nobody made soloes like him.

I agree about Gilmour, but not about Barrett :) I like them both, of course it's different kind and level of 'like', I almost treat the two eras like different bands. And Gilmour playing/singing Barrett's his own way (that Belgian (?) tv show etc) is always amusing to me, I like it, too..
