Name Connect

The concent of this game is very simple: I have listed 10 pairs of names, the objective for you is to find the name that fits between in each case. For example:
Pascal [Name] Carapaz; the name that fits between is 'Richard'.

Romy [Name] Asgreen
Justin [Name] Hesters
Julien [Name] Dalby
Jonathan [Name] Menten
Dan [Name] Laas
Geraint [Name] Voeckler
August [Name] Plowright
Euro [Name] Cadzow

Jannis (Name) Sagan
Shara/Nicolas (first name + last name of a former Danish track rider)

It's not my fault his name fits in like that.

It is your fault for trying to include him. :D
BTW, are Shara and Nicolas related?

Now, let's try something different. Let's see if anyone can come up with examples of a rider "hiding" between two others. For example, as (sort of) shown in my list above:

Andrew [Name] [Name] Plowright

The rider "hiding" in the middle is August Jensen.

That's what I have been looking for, but while there are some, the rider in the middle is very obscure, such as
Geraint {name] [name] Phinney (Thomas Davis came 11th in the US time trial championship in 1999)

Would JulianAla [name] [name] Duclos-Lassalle count?

The most obvious current example of the phenomenon, and likely to become more so over the next few years, is Roger [Adria} Pericas.

But Roger is not that unusual as a French surname, so I soon found a Francis Roger, then an Adam Francis (in fact, two of them), followed by young Cameron Adam (so I didn't have to resort to Cameron Adams), and then over to the ladies' peloton where there is Tracey Cameron.

Which brought me to Tracey [] [] [] [] Pericas.

Tracey, in that spelling, is a not unusual surname in Ireland, but the nearest I could find was a David Treacey. Almost certainly another anglicisation of Ó Treasaigh, but I'm trying to be strict here.

Which is a shame, because otherwise
Scott David
James Scott
Owen James
Logan Owen (I got one rider we have heard of)
Anthony Logan
Jesse Anthony
Frank Jesse
Simon Frank
Pascal Simon (and another)
Benjamin Pascal
Martin Benjamin
Thomas Martin
Ryan Thomas
John Ryan
Vincent John
Austin Vincent
Barry Austin.
Michael Barry (a third)
Rudolf Michael
Ernst Rudolf
Sebastian Ernst
Michel Sebastian
Gaston Michel
Ignacio Gaston
Arman Ignacio
Isabella Arman
at which point the chain seems to break.

But I probably could have found a different rider with David as a given name to start with, and extended backwards from the beginning (I see a David Kelly, David Marie, David George and David Lee, any of which might be a fruitful avenue, but the PCS search engine for lesser known riders doesn't operate by forename, and CQ is limited to riders since abut 200)

There is a James James, who sort of single handedly breaks this game, and several places in the above string where I could have diverted into a circular loop ..
