I am interesting to see how much paper works and costs you should have in order to join the club, and get licence to compete. On me it is country to country cycling popularity question.

My example Join club anual about 20 euros, sport medical exam about 5e, insurance about 15 euros, Croatian Cycling Fed. fee another 10 euros, photos etc it take some 40-50 euros anual costs, without entry fees.

It is also impossible to compete without licence, and one day licence is gone.

What is your experiences?

60 dollars US. Doesn't cover anything. Race entry @20-35 per race. Cycle Fed clubs can buy insurance for rides/races and training races.

-sport medical check up around 50euro
-race fee 10euro for criteriums/races and 20 to 70euro for granfondos

oldborn, you're right, calcio is the n°1 not only as sport but probably also as tv show/programs available (that's why I can't stand it anymore).
If you add that the government has financial benefits from soccer (see "totocalcio") then you understand why it's this way.

2011....€120 competition licence + €40 to €60 club fee = €160+. Single day race entry cost €10 & 3 day races €40+. And there's a recession here:(

oldman - the minimum wage as dictated by the Australian Government is $514 a week. The average wage can be anywhere from $550 (after tax) a week, up to $1000 a week (after tax) for low to middle income earners. Everything is expensive here because of that though.
